There is no use denying it, temps are beginning to lower and the leaves are looking like a kaleidoscope of color on every tree. It is one of my favorite times of year because it brings the joy of the holidays. Thanksgiving and Christmas are two of my favorite times in NYC. It is a time filled with kindness, joy and a city so full of harmony, it glows. It is everything to behold and too much all at the same time. It is in a word – perfection.
While I look forward to the fall with anticipation, I know it is also one of the hardest times of the year for me after dealing with such incredible loss. The joy of families coming together is not one I can look forward to. I have been orphaned in the most heartbreaking way but have found the strength to look forward in hope toward the holidays. That said, I welcome Fall 2019 with the perseverance that has enabled me to stand year after year. This year a bit stronger, wiser and ready to conquer this last quarter of the year.
It has been a transformational year thus far. The level up continues…
